Bad Weather Bento

On left: rice; nori; furikake; carrot bits
On right: seiben crackers; rice crackers; edamame; carrots; soy ginger chicken
Comments: La vetero estas malbona=the weather sucked. It looked like it was going to be hurricane like though in the end passed fairly well, even before I got around to eating! Made after a trip to Fortune, local asian supermarket, thus the new goodies. I had great hopes for the soy ginger chicken after discovering that Fortune had a vegetarian/vegan section in the back of the frozen goods yet... it made me sick. :( Maybe I should give up on non-nugget like chicken replacement foods as they always hurt my stomache.
Prepare time: 30 min.

Raccoon Bento

On left:
On right:
Comments: If I hadn't slept in to late I would have boiled more brocolli and mixed some soy sauce into the rice for the raccoon so he wouldn't be white... ;p
My appetite problem is back and I hardly wish to eat anymore, nibbled at my bento but not much more... *sighs*
Today was the last offical day of classes though I have two finals to take(math analysis & japanese III) so two more school bento to come before... well should I pack when I go to college? Would there be purpose in that? I'll still pack for work and certain activities though...

I thought it kind of looked like a wolf... or a polar bear... *shrug* Who knows. It's all a matter of opinion I suppose, ;p

666 Bento

On left: root bear candies; edamame; blueberries; pineapple; and watermelon
On right: simply asia sweet and sour chow mein & curry filled devil hello kitty onigiri(rice, curry, nori, corn nose, strawberry)
Comments: It's 06/06/06, what can I say? Made it yummy with the curry filled evil kitty, ^.^
The only thing not so wonderful was the chow mein, too sweet & soury for me. In all I didn't finish that, the pineapples, and the blueberries. Probably didn't help to have eaten all the candies before starting on the real meal, lol. Couldn't help it, so good.
Prepare time: 35 min.

Yummy Bento

On left: golden curry and giant carrot fish
On right: white rice; strawberry hearts; nori; carrot beak
Comments: I think curry is yummy. Penguins think fish are yummy. This bento was very yummy. ;p Not sure it was too creative in design though with the desire to sleep in later with the weather getting warmer I was left with little time to plan in the morning.
With no work or school for the next two days(senior skip day then prom) no sure if I'll be packing bento either day. So *shrug* May pack on prom day so I have something to eat as I go about getting ready without resorting to fastfood or something that will ruin my appetite for the dinner
Prepare time: 20 min.

Kiki's Delivery Bento

On right: rice; 1 noodle; nori; carrot letters; furikake; and strawberry bow
Comments: Used to love this movie when I was little. Jiji didn't come out as nice as I would have liked though. Either way it was an uber delish bento today. The noodles, when I first made them yesterday, where okay though too soaked in the sauce to enjoy yet in the bento where soooooo good I wanted more.
Ate all my edamame, noodles, and rice though left a few daikon slices, all the strawberry, and three bits of carrot.
Prepare time: 25 min.

Tiger Bento

On left: rice; carrot; daikon; nori; furikake
On right: carrot; daikon; croquettes; veggie stir fry; and strawberry of soy sauce
Comments: Testing the packing of the Hello Kitty head bento. Turns out that despite it's size just like any other box with proper packing skills it's more than enough food. This bento was easy to make since it involved all foods that I'd already premade all of it, still have some left in the frig. *grin*
Prepare time: 20 min.
